Class Uniforms

All Mi-Cher Dancers

(Ages 3-18)

Whether it be a tight hair bun helping the dancers turn better or the correct skirt helping them learn how to shape their arms, having your dancer in the proper uniform for class will enable them to concentrate on their dance practice and set them up for success.

General Notes: All ballet attire must be clean and mended if holes or runs appear.

Hair: Must be done in an appropriate style.  Students with shorter hair must have hair pulled back off their face. ALL other students must have ballet buns. Click here for a great YouTube video on making a ballet bun.

Jewelry: For safety reasons, no jewelry will be permitted to be worn in class, except for small stud earrings.
If you have cultural or religious jewelry that must be worn at all times, please discuss this with the class instructor.

Shoes: Students must dance in proper dance shoes or bare feet, as wearing only socks or tights is a slipping hazard.

Perfume: We ask that you please do not wear perfumes, body sprays, or body oils at the studio, as some people have allergies and/or asthma.  Dancers, please still wear your normal deodorant/antiperspirant.

Sweaters: Sweaters must be fully fitted to show form and posture. They are not a required part of the uniform, but if your dancer gets cold we recommend the Carmen Wrap Sweater by Wear Moi or something identical. The goal is for it to be skin tight so that we can see their bodies. Please get the sweater in black, pink or grey as shown. Dancers will be asked to remove any loose fitting sweaters.

NOTE: Dance uniforms should be purchased from Limbers Dancewear, The Dance Shop, Dance Box, another dance store, or sometimes Amazon has some items.

Limbers Dancewear, located at #150 - 5620 152 Street, specifically stocks our Cobalt Motionwear Grades 1-5 uniform leotard.
